BULACAN — First District Board Member Romina Fermin of this province has filed a complaint against fellow Board Member Efren Bartolome Jr. for allegedly insulting her and engaging in inappropriate behavior toward her as members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bulacan.
In her privileged speech, Fermin emotionally recounted several incidents she allegedly experienced, including one during the SP’s Christmas party in Calumpit, where Bartolome was reportedly under the influence of alcohol.
Fermin is set to file a complaint under Republic Act 11313, or the Safe Spaces Act. Bartolome has yet to issue a statement.
