MANILA – Fair weather will dominate much of the Philippines on Wednesday, though brief downpours and thunderstorms may develop later in the day, PAGASA reported.
Weather specialist Loriedin Galicia said no low-pressure areas are being monitored, with no expected weather disturbances over the next few days.
Temperatures are set to rise, with Tuguegarao possibly hitting 36°C and Metro Manila reaching up to 35°C.
However, it will feel significantly hotter. The heat index could soar to 43°C in Sangley Point, Cavite, while Metro Manila may see values between 38°C and 39°C.
Residents are urged to avoid prolonged sun exposure and drink plenty of water.
Winds will remain light to moderate, with seas expected to be slight to moderate nationwide.
