MANILA – The Philippines is set for generally fair weather this Easter Sunday due to a high-pressure area (HPA) ridge, PAGASA said.
The HPA ridge, which stretches across Northern and Central Luzon, typically suppresses cloud formation, keeping skies mostly clear. However, localized thunderstorms may still occur, especially in the Visayas and Mindanao. Residents in flood- or landslide-prone areas are advised to stay alert.
Light to moderate winds are expected nationwide, with coastal waves ranging 0.6 to 1.5 meters. Metro Manila’s temperatures over the past 24 hours were between 22°C and 33.3°C.
