She worked as a sales agent, sold goods in the market, and later became a bank teller. Over time, she steadily reached the pinnacle of success. Her livelihood became stable, and she achieved dreams that once seemed impossible.
Yet even after attaining personal success, she realized the true value of giving back to the community. She never forgot her roots.
Among her initiatives are the distribution of school supplies to children, annual Christmas assistance for hundreds to thousands of children, gifts for senior citizens, installation of solar lighting in dark areas, support for athletes through sports activities, medical missions, and many other community programs.
The memory of the times when she herself needed help and understanding remains close to her heart.
Because of this, Mariel Lyn Biason developed a deeper desire to serve the people of Barangay Poblacion, Norzagaray, Bulacan, in a wider and more meaningful way.
Today, she has chosen to dedicate her time, skills, and experience to public service as a candidate for Punong Barangay.
She believes that a leader is not only a good speaker, but also a good listener, a person of action, and someone willing to work alongside the people.
Mariel envisions a barangay with good governance, efficient public service, a safe community, and equal opportunities for all.
For her, becoming a barangay captain is not a privilege—it is a great responsibility.
A true leader, she believes, is measured by concern for others, honesty, and the ability to place the welfare of the people above personal interests.
Her story proves that hardship is not a barrier to success. More importantly, success should not be the end of a dream, but the beginning of broader service.
From a humble beginning to the success she enjoys today, Mariel Lyn Biason carries one goal: to be a servant-leader who is ready to support, listen, and act for the good of every resident of her barangay.
