SANTA Ignacia, Tarlac – Authorities from the Santa Ignacia Municipal Police Station arrested a suspect linked to an Estafa case on Sunday, March 8, 2026, as part of the station’s intensified drive against criminality.
The operation was spearheaded by PMAJ Jeryll John C. Lauron, Chief of Police of Santa Ignacia MPS. The arrest was executed under a Warrant of Arrest issued on December 20, 1999, by Hon. Marvin B. Mangino, Presiding Judge of the MCTC in Cities, Branch I, Tarlac City. The warrant carries a recommended bail of ₱6,000.

Following his arrest, the suspect was informed of his constitutional rights in accordance with the Miranda Doctrine in a language he could understand. He was also taken to the Santa Ignacia Rural Health Unit for a routine medical check-up.
The individual is currently held at the Santa Ignacia Municipal Police Station while authorities complete documentation and other legal procedures before his eventual presentation in court.
The Santa Ignacia PNP urges the community to continue cooperating with law enforcement to ensure peace and safety in the municipality.
